Me puse muy contenta cuando me avisaron que tenía que asistir a dos eventos en Zurich, la semana pasada. Aún no había visitado Suiza y la noticia me puso muy ansiosa.
Desde Madrid son solo dos horas y media de vuelo. Nada mal. Lo que más me llamó la atención de la ciudad, como ya lo había hecho Hamburgo hace dos años atrás, fue la limpieza de sus calles, la organización de sus medios de transportes y la frescura del aire.
Zurich HB
Zurich es la estación principal de Zurich donde se puede tomar trenes a cualquier parte. La ubicación es pleno centro. Les recomiendo que compren la tarjeta de pase libre a los medios de transportes por el período que estén de visita en el aeropuerto y que luego la conserven con ustedes. A diferencia de mi anfitriona, España, y de mis tierras latinas, en los países como Suiza o Alemania no existen molinetes de control para subir al tren o los autobuses, por ejemplo, los suizos son educados de esa forma, cada uno saca su boleto y solo lo enseñan si algún guardia lo solicita a bordo. Tenemos mucho que aprender de ellos.
El lago y las montañas
No pueden perderse la gratificante sensación de caminar a orillas del lago de Zürich o tomar un paseo en barco por él mientras alimentan a los cisnes que danzan por sus aguas. Y si quieren una vista aérea pueden tomar el tren hacia Uetliberg y no regresaran decepcionados luego de ver tal maravilla.
La ciudad
La ciudad es una mezcla de lo clásico y lo moderno. Arquitectura única de antaño combinada con la más reciente tecnología. Cocina internacional, muchos bares y las grandes marcas internacionales al paso. Es muy fácil de moverse.
I was very happy when I was told that I had to attend two events in Zurich last week. I had not yet visited Switzerland before so the news made me very happy and anxious.
From Madrid, it is only a two and a half hour flight. Not bad. What caught my attention in the city, the same things that caught my attention in Hamburg two years ago, was the cleanliness of its streets, its efficient transportation and the freshness of the air.
Zurich HB
Zurich HB is Zurich 's main railway station where you can take a train to everywhere in Switzerland. It's located in the heart of the city . I recommend you to buy the transportation card for the period that you are visiting at the airport and then just keep it with you . Unlike my host, Spain, and the America Latina where I am from, in countries like Switzerland or Germany, there is no control to board a train or bus or any other transport, the Swiss are educated that way, everyone buys their ticket and they only show them if it is requested by any guard on board. We've got a lot to learn from them.
The lake and the mountains.
You can not miss the rewarding feeling of walking along the shores of Lake Zürich or take a boat trip in it while feeding the swans that dance in its waters. And if you want a beautiful over view of the city you can take a train to Uetliberg and you won't be disappointed after seeing such a breathtaking view.
The city
The city is a mix of classic and modern. Unique architecture of the old times combined with the latest technology . International cuisine, bars and the most recognized international brands stores are found while you walk around. It's very easy to get to different places.
