CONCHITA WURST vs. PUTIN

¿Vieron la Gala de Eurovisión el domingo? Trato de no inclinarme hacia ningún partido en mi mi blog, a parte, todo el mundo llena páginas hablando de política. Pero tengo que decir que Conchita Wurst le dio una buena lección a V. Putin (y a muchos otros)! Creo plenamente que el amor está por encima de cualquier modelo impuesto, y por favor, dejemos de detenernos en detalles de la vida privada de las personas y centrémonos en los verdaderos problemas que atañen al mundo actual. Y no olvidemos que "los cementerios están llenos de gente que decía tener la razón". Dedico esta entrada a uno de mis mejores amigos. Para vos y tu lucha, Gastón. 

Have you seen the Eurovison singing contest last Sunday? I try not to take part of any party on my blog, what is more, everybody fills out pages talking about politics. But I have to say that Conchita Wurst taught V. Putin (and some others) a good lesson! I'm a strong believer that love is over any imposed pattern, and please, let's stop focusing on details of people's private lives and let's focus on the real problems that our world is facing right now. And, also, don't you forget that "cemeteries are full of people who used to say they were the owners of the truth". I dedicate this post to onw of my best friends. For you and your fight, Gastón.

FERIA DE SEVILLA. Sevilla's fair.

Hoy terminó la hermosa Feria de Abril de Sevilla - que este año ha sido en Mayo - ¡Y qué alegría haber podido ir al menos el último fin de semana! Cuando vivía en la capital Andaluza, hace dos años, la había visitado por primera vez y quedé fascinada por su belleza, pero esta vez fue aún más especial porque gracias a la Diseñadora SUSANA NAVARRO lucí un hermoscísimo traje de gitana. ¡Sevillanas, rebujitos, manzanilla y más sevillanas! Entre tantos amigos que puedé ver allí, encontré al Sr. Joaquín Fernandez Cepedello, director de la revista Galope.

The breathtaking Feria de Abril de Sevilla - that it's usually in April, but this year  was in May - finished today and it was so great to have been able to go this weekend! When I lived there (Andalucía's capital city), two years ago, I visited the fair for the first time and I ended up amazed by its beauty. However, this time was even more special because, thank designer SUSANA NAVARRO I went to the party wearing an outstanding "typical" dress. I loved it! In fact, everything was great. Among many friends that I got to see there, I run into Mr. Joaquín Fernandez Cepedello, Galope Magazine's director.

ULTIMANDO PARA EL MUNDIAL. Getting ready for the World Cup

Ayer he pasado por la sección de deportes del Corte Inglés de Arroyo Sur y no resistí las ganas de traerme no solo la camiseta de mi amado país sino también de mi querida España que me ha estado acogiendo tan bien desde 2010. ¡Ya estoy lista para el mundial!

Yesterday I passed by the Sport section of El Corte Inglés in Arroyo Sur and I couldn't resist the desires of getting not only the shirt of my loved country but also the one from my beautiful Spain who has been hosting me so well since 2010.  I'm ready for the World Cup!

DESFILE EN QUITI. Catwalk show in Quiti.

Quitilipi es el pueblo donde nací, al norte de Argentina. El més pasado fui a ver a mi familia, especialmente por el cumple de mi padre, como todos los años. La diferencia fue que esta vez el pueblo tenía un evento organizado por un diseñador local, David Gonzalez, y dos de sus alumnas que terminaban la carrera de Diseño de Indumentaria. 

    El día del desfile (dos horas antes), cuando estaba en la peluquería arreglándome para ir a ver el show, una de las nuevas diseñadoras, Marlene Osicka, me pregunta si quería desfilar con uno de sus vestidos, y como el evento resultó ser también un evento solidario, dije que sí inmediatamente.

    Por suerte, el primer vestido que me probé, con un poquito de fuerza, entró perfectamente y fui directo al show. ¡Qué sorpresa para mi familia, que me estaba esperando en las mesas, cuando me vieron bajar las escaleras del escenario!

Quitilipi is the town where I was born, in northern Argentina. Last month I went there to visit my family and specially for my father's birthday, like every year. The difference was that this time, there was a catwalk show in the town organized by a local designer, David Gonzalez, and two of his students who where finishing their Fashion careers. 

   The day of the event (two hours before) I was at the salon getting my hair done to go and see the show, when suddenly one of the new designers, Marlene Osicka, got in and asked me if I wanted to show one of her dresses, and since the event happened to be a solidarity event, I said yes right away.

   Luckily, the first dress that I tried on, with a little bit of pushing, fit me perfectly and went directly to the show! What a surprise for my family, who was waiting for me at the tables, when they saw me walking down the stage's stairs!

HACIENDO MI CV AV. Making of my AV CV

Todo empezó escuchando la experiencia de un estudiante de diseño audiovisual contando en la radio su experiencia de haber hecho y mostrado su CV en soporte audiovisual. Me encantó la idea. Me dije que no había mejor forma de mostrar lo que he hecho y lo que sé hacer que en un vídeo. Tengo mucho que contar así que viajé a mi pueblo natal en Argentina para empezar el auto-reportaje. Ya lo subiré cuando lo tenga listo.

Gracias a mi familia, Diego y Diego, Jessica, Fabricio, Cristian y demás amigos por la ayuda. 

Everything begun with an audiovisual design student talking on the radio about his experience in making and showing his CV in an audiovisual way. I loved the idea. I told myself that there was not better way to show what I have done and what I'm good at than in a video. I have a lot to tell so I traveled to my town in Argentina to start with the self-report. I will upload it as soon as I finish it.

Estaba preguntándome si existe alguna actividad más relajante en mi vida que salir de compras. Y... ¡Creo que no! Jajaja. Las primeras provisiones para el verano ya están en casa. :) 

I was wondering whether there was any other activity more relaxing in my life than going shopping. And.... I don't think so! Hahaha. The first summer items are already at home. :)
